How much does 3D printing cost in Spain? Real prices 2026

3D printed bracket, enclosure and gear

Short answer: in our workshop a small PLA part (up to about 20 g) costs €6, our minimum order; a 100 g part costs about €16 and a 240 g part about €29, VAT included. The price depends mainly on how much plastic the part needs and how many hours it keeps the printer busy. You can see the exact price of your file in the calculator.

What does a typical part cost?

Prices from our calculator with standard settings (0.2 mm layers, 4 walls, 30 % infill), VAT included:

Part Material Weight Price
Clip, cover or small bracket PLA 10–20 g €6.00
Small enclosure, wall bracket PLA 35 g €7.10
Medium functional part PLA 107 g €16.07
Medium mechanical spare part PETG 109 g €20.79
Outdoor or car part ASA 92 g €20.15
Large part PLA 237 g €29.31
Flexible part (seal, bumper) TPU 104 g €37.97
10 identical clips PLA 10 × 17 g €24.68 (€2.47 each)

These are compact example parts. A hollow part or one with thin walls weighs less and costs less; a solid one costs more.

What does the price depend on?

  1. Plastic weight. PLA is the cheapest; PETG and ASA cost a little more; flexible TPU quite a bit more.
  2. Printer hours. A 100 g PLA part keeps the printer busy for about 3.5 hours; the same part in TPU for about 17, because flexible material prints much more slowly.
  3. Print settings. More walls and infill make a stronger part, but heavier and more expensive. Finer 0.12 mm layers improve the finish and lengthen the print.
  4. Quantity. Identical parts are prepared once: −8 % from 5 parts, −15 % from 10 and up to −30 % from 50.
  5. Size. Orders over 200 g get a weight discount (−10 % in PLA, a little more in PETG and TPU).
  6. Urgency. If you need it within 24 h, the price goes up 40 %.

The €6 minimum covers file preparation, checking and cleaning the part, which is why a 5 g part and an 18 g part cost the same.

What does the market charge in Spain?

Spanish workshops that publish prices use three models: price per machine hour (usually €5–6/h), price per gram plus a fixed fee (some start at about €15 per part) and automatic calculators with minimum orders from €4.50 to €15. Many local workshops do not publish prices and reply within 24–48 h.

To compare quotes, always ask for the price incl. VAT and the exact weight and material: two prices are only comparable if the part has the same walls and infill.

How to pay less for the same part

  • Choose PLA if the part will not face heat or sun. It is the cheapest material with the best finish.
  • Do not ask for 100 % infill unless you need it. With 4 walls and 30 % infill, a part handles daily use; the walls give most of the strength.
  • Group parts in one order. You pay the minimum once and discounts kick in sooner.
  • Send the file in millimetres. A file in other units comes out huge or tiny and delays the quote.

What if I don’t have a 3D file?

We design it in CAD from photos and measurements or from the original part, with a fixed price agreed before we start. See custom CAD design.
